A special presentation by our Stouffville Choir of “FOLLOWERS OF THE LAMB” CANTATA, lead by Daniel Mehdizadeh on Palm Sunday, April 13th during our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30am. We will be welcoming Ebenezer United Church for this service.
For the followers of Jesus Christ, Holy Week is a week like no other in the church year. This dramatic cantata takes the listener from the high praise of Palm Sunday, through the anguish of the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane and the cross of Calvary, to the “Alleluias” of Easter morning. With familiar hymns, timeless folk melodies and newly composed music, it will be a spectacular music treat to share with friends.
