Women exploring their faith. The purpose of the United Church Women is to unite women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which they may express their loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service. For more information, contact the church office or click here for the latest UCW poster with meeting times and details.
Presenting music to the community of local artists. We have been offering many mixed styles of music including: Choral, Gospel, Country, Blue Grass, Organ, Piano, Vocal Solo, Guitar, Hand Drum and School Bands. Refreshments and fellowship at intermission.
The Stouffville United Church Choir is a group of singers committed to bringing the joy of music to weekly worship services. We sing a wide range of music at varying levels of difficulty, however, our main goal is to share our love of music with the congregation. The Choir is always happy to welcome new singers who share their passion and commitment to meaningful music. A strong music background is not required, nor is a firm, weekly commitment. We rehearse on Sunday Mornings in the Davis Room at 9:30am. Feel free to come and check us out, or speak to Courtney for more information
Gathering in each others homes on a weekday evening, books are selected, read, and discussed. The evenings always include good food and good fellowship as friendships are deepened and faith is strengthened. This group occasionally sponsors events during the year, such as a Ladies Christmas Brunch
Organized by the Younger Woman’s Book Club, the Breakfast gathering occurs about 3 times per year, includes a guest speaker, is open to all the women of the congregation and town of Stouffville
Led by Rev. Elizabeth, we meet Tuesday mornings at 10:30 in the Friendship Room. We look at the Lectionary readings for the upcoming Sunday, using the Upper Room Daily Devotions as a support resource. All are welcome!
Prayer Group on last Wednesday of the month at 10 am in the Friendship Room. If you would like to be part of this Prayer Group or if you would like to add a name (which will be kept confidential to the prayer group), please call or email Rev. Elizabeth (firstname.lastname@example.org)
