Open Forum – Youth Mental Health And Wellness series is a Monthly Interactive And Professionally Facilitated Presentation And Discussion Group on topical issues for parents, families and youth concerning Youth Mental Health and Wellness sponsored by Stouffville United Church: Creating Community For All. Facilitated by Lyndsay Thompson MDiv, RP (Qualifying)
March’s Topic is “SOCIAL MEDIA AND BULLYING” on Tuesday, March 12th starting at 7pm at Hummingbird Hub (6331 Main Street, Stouffville). We would like to welcome our guest speakers:
Michelle Laxamana MDiv. RP Qualifying, CAMFT. Michelle is a former teacher and now a Registed Phsychothereapist (Qualifying).
Jamie Sutherland CYW, BA Hon, MDiv. (Cand) CAMFT. Jamie is a Child and Youth Counsellor, and is currently finishing a Masters Degree in Clinical Counselling.
Both have extensive experience with children, youth and parents, specializing in youth-related topics like social media, bullying, parenting, depression and identity.
